Laurel is a trained professional Copy Editor who will read and work with you on your manuscript.  She will answer questions, help you to clarify content, and correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar as needed.

Basic copyediting and proofreading services include reading the completed manuscript and correcting errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and capitalization.  In addition, numbered lists, Table of Contents, tables, etc. are checked for accuracy and content.  Minor inconsistencies and/or style problems are addressed if needed.

Additional responsibilities include checking correctness of numbers, abbreviations, gender neutrality, and evaluation of content and style.  Recommendations are made regarding audience appropriateness, logic and clarity, word usage, and format.
